Wow what a month we have had at Cranium! There are so many great new things in the salon for you to play with – it’s all very exciting!

Hairdresser of the Year… again!
And the winner is Cranium!!!!
Last night we won Hairdresser of the Year in the Manly Daily Business Achiever Awards. This is the 7th time we have won this award in the past 8 years (we sponsored last year so we were not allowed to compete).
We also won the Readers Choice Award this is the first time we have won this award. Thank you for all of your support and for your well wishes. We are already thinking of ways to improve your service so we can stay in front!
Sustainable towels - reducing our carbon footprint
We have recently sourced towel for our salon that are made from certified renewable sources of wood fibre – usually spruce or pine. These towels are ten times more absorbent than cotton towels and will aid in reducing blow-drying time by up to 40%.
Hair Expo - New Creative Force - 2010
Hair Expo is the premier salon industry event combining exhibition, celebrity demonstrations, hair awards and talent at the cutting edge of style.
Nicki Doyle has done it again she secured a finalist place at this years Hair Expo. Hundreds of entrants were judged based on their photographic and written submission. Four of these entrants were honoured with finalist places.

Winner - Best Salon Design 2009
A big congratulations is in order for Kelly Kent at Cranium Hair to win this prestigious award.
The salon really is an inspiring place to work and to be pampered. The team at Choi Ropiha architects did a fantastic job of creating a beautiful space. Luckily for us the boys at Graybuilt made that design come to life.
Hair Expo - Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist - 2007
Kelly Kent from Cranium Hair in Manly, North Sydney has been selected as a finalist in the young entrepreneur category in 2007 Hair Expo Australian Hairdresser of the Year. From creativity, to colour, to outstanding business achievements, they crown and celebrate Australia’s and New Zealand’s most exceptional talents.
This award is an incredible achievement and illustrates Kelly’s commitment to her profession.
